A former Watford FC youth academy player who feared he would never again kick a football says he is well on the road to recovery after overcoming a debilitating back condition. GLENTORAN skipper Paul Leeman admits his focus has now turned to next season after injury ruled him out of the remainder of the current campaign. Leeman was stretchered off at the end of Saturday's Setanta Sports Cup draw with Bohemians in Dublin after jarring his knee. The 32-year-old underwent a scan on Monday which revealed some damage to the cruciate ligament and cartilage in his left knee, as well as a hairline fracture.
